'How To' by Ruslan Surrey

The inspiration of the story is taken from different shades of blue color. We thought of blue as association with youth and different emotions and memories we experience for the first time when we are young. Dreams, broken heart, first kiss, rebelliousness, school years, self-discovery.

Blue color appears on a clean face by evident accents to transfer the mood of youth.

To create clean and natural skin effect I used the base Hyaluronic Acid Serum by the Ordinary  and the Eight Hour Moisturizer Cream for Face by Elizabeth Arden. For smoothing skin color I applied Becca Ultimate Coverage Complexion Crème all over face and Secret Camouflage by Laura Mercier on separate areas.

Look 1

I applied Chaos by Urban Decay tone to create soft shading effect resembling innocence, dreaming and lightness.

Look 2

In order to create bi-color lips I used two tones from Flash Color Case by Make Up For Ever and to have mat finishing look I applied eyeshadows from Electric by Urban Decay palette.

Look 3

I applied messy dense strokes on a single eyebrow using Flash Color Case by Make Up For Ever.

Look 4

To achieve this free and slapdash effect I applied the Kiehl's Lip Balm first on the lid and then I poured blue pigment by MAC

Look 5

For the ink drop, I used Aquacolor Kryolan. We put our model on a floor and I dripped several drops using medicine dropper.

Look 6

Russian alphabet. I wrote letters using  Chromaline by MAC Pro in Marine Ultra tone
