With the Face Fluid of Susanne Kaufmann I’ve created a subtle skin which is a great base for Laura Mercier’s Tinted Moisturizer. Both I like to really massage it into the skin to create a natural dewy finish. To hide a little dark shadows underneath the eyes I’ve applied YSL Touche Eclat which is amazing to keep a natural look. For the winged liner on the outer corner of the eyes I used YSL - Majorelle Blue 2 Eyeliner. For the lids I’ve used Pat Mc Graths Black 002 Eye Gloss and a flat medium sized brush. To create a natural lipcolor I’ve used Marc Jacob’s Lip Cream “cream and sugar”.
My favourite color combination for this season is a mix between silver / light blue and orange. For that I’ve used MAC Paintstick in ‘Cyan’ & NARS Dual Intensity Eyeshadow in ‘Lysithea’. To not lose the darkness in the story I’ve applied the Black Extreme Eye Pencil of Laura Mercier on the waterline. For the lips I’ve used Tom Fords ‘Wild Ginger’ Lipstick which makes the blue on the lid more bright.
The shape of the star around the eye was done freehand with a sharp angled brush and Smashbox - Jet Set Waterproof Eyeliner. After that I applied gently MAC Glitter in Red. With my fingers I’ve tapped Marc Jacobs Lip Cream in ‘cream and sugar’ on the lips which is a nice technique to melt the waxes in the lipstick and get a more natural finish.
I wanted to play a bit with different textures so I’ve drawn a sharp eyeliner with the Marc Jacobs Magic Marc’er and tapped Make up Forever - Artist Eyeshadow M 853 on the lid next to Too Faced - Pure Gold. To get a little contrast between the eyes and lips without using to much color I’ve chosen a cooler undertone on the lips by using Smashbox - Be Legendary Lipstick in ‘ Fair Play’.
Marc Jacobs - Blacker Lipstick is a great base to let Becca Lipgloss in ‘ Amethyst x Geode’ pop even better. Best to apply with the finger., around the eyes I’ve used Laura Mercier’s Caviar Stick in ‘Black’.
‘Black Tied’ Eyeshadow by MAC was used to get a depth on top of the lid & Tom Ford’s ‘Tempete Bleu’ Private Eyeshadow to give a little contrast and brighten up her eyes. To get the dewy finish on the skin I love using the Hydrating Oil Stick by MILK.
