'How To' by Vera Maslieva

Natural, nude and glossy look

How to: All started from skin preparation. I used Thayers Witch Hazel toner to refresh and moisturize it. Skin should be luminous, natural and healthy looking. So, I applied Becca priming filter with my fingertips all over the face. Then, I used few drops of Smashbox priming oil, warmed it up in my hands and applied it all over the face with easy gently touches as well. Decision was to proceed without any foundation.

The Everything Balm helped me to achieve really moisturized, glossy look on eyes and lips. Then I brushed brows with M.A.C clear brow gel.

Peachy eyes with wet effect

How to: Milk Make Up creamy blush and Laura Geller lip gloss were mixed using a spatula. Then, I applied mixture on eyes and lips using a flat synthetic M.A.C brush №195 and my fingertips.

Kat Von D brow pen helped to fix “bald” parts of brows. I finished this look by applying NARS blush with duo fiber Hakuhodo brush №J544, to make the cheeks looks little bit brighter.

Natural, glossy eyes and berry lips look

How to: I removed peachy color from eyes and lips and put there The Everything Balm. Then, I added Paese lippstick №903 in the centre of lips, gently blended it with my finger and left the most intensive color it the middle of the mouth.

Green eyes with wet effect

How to: Green color foundation from Make Up For Ever 12 color case and The Everything Balm were mixed using the spatula and pallet to make texture more fluid. Then, I added few drops of M.A.C face and body foundation to achieve color I was looking for. Green color should be natural, not too bright and not too contrast to skin, but definitely should be in harmony with colors of our flowers. I applied this creamy texture on the eyes using flat synthetic M.A.C brush №195. The biggest part of creamy texture should stay in eyelid wrinkles. I finished this look by removing berry color from the lips (after lipstick they were little bit tinted with pink color already) and moisturizing with The Everything Balm.

Hair

How to: I applied Loreal Professional 10 in 1 multifunctional spray all over the hair - it helped to protect hair from high temperature. With BaByliss Pro curling iron I achieved natural wavy hair effect. I was holding iron in a vertical position when I was working with hair. Then, I throughly brushed hair using Tangle Teezer brush. I finished the result using Oribe Beach Wave spray.
